Before you start

What this covers: This request covers images in PreCheck's own face index. It does not remove images from the websites where they were originally published. To have an image taken down at its source, please contact that website directly.
Third-party providers: PreCheck may also show search results that come from third-party providers, such as FaceCheck.ID. We do not operate or control their databases, and this request does not reach them. To ask FaceCheck.ID to remove your photos, visit facecheck.id/en/RemoveMyPhotos.
Limits of automated matching: Removal is carried out with automated face matching, which is not perfect. It may not find every image of you, for example photos taken at unusual angles or in poor light. If you find one we missed, you are welcome to send a new request at any time.
Your photo: We use the photo you sent only to carry out this request. We do not store a face template made from it, and we delete the photo once your request is processed, and in any case within 7 days. We keep a record of the request itself (your name, email address, the date, and technical details such as your IP address), generally for about 24 months, to show how it was handled, and then delete it.
Keeping removed images out: When a face is removed from our index, we delete its face template and our stored image of it. So that the same photo is not added back, we keep a record of the web address of the photo, where the face was in it, and a digital fingerprint of that part of the photo. The fingerprint only matches copies of that same photo. It is not a face template, and it does not recognize anyone in a different photo.
